Chifeng (Chinese 赤峰, Pinyin Chìfēng; Lit.: red peak) is a prefecture-level city in the southeast part of the Inner Mongolia, near the borders of Chaoyang prefecture in Liaoning province and Chengde prefecture in Hebei. It has roughly 479,300 inhabitiants, according to January 2002 estimates.

It was formerly the seat of the Roman Catholic diocese of Chifeng.
